Manchester City will be without Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero for their trip to Chelsea on Saturday.

Aguero missed last weekend's win over Bournemouth with muscle fatigue and then picked up an abductor injury on Monday which ruled him out of the trip to Watford.

The Argentine striker hasn't recovered in time for the trip to Stamford Bridge.

De Bruyne has been out since suffering a knee injury against Fulham in the Carabao Cup on November 1 and hasn't recovered in time to face Chelsea.

He turned in a starring display at the Bridge last season but City haven't unduly missed one of their key men, with Bernardo Silva shining in his absence.

Asked if either Aguero or De Bruyne would be fit to face Chelsea, Guardiola said: "No, both cannot play tomorrow.

"They will be back soon."
