Maurizio Sarri believes Chelsea need to learn to manage the game better when they are on top.

Wolves stunned Chelsea to come back from a goal down and beat the Blues 2-1 in their last outing, and that result came not long after Tottenham inflicted the first defeat of Sarri’s reign.

Chelsea seem to have lost their sparkle under Sarri and have just one win in four league games.

Manchester City travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday and Sarri conceded he is concerned about his side’s togetherness during games.

‘It is not easy to answer, but I have seen in the last matches we didn’t react as a team or eleven players, so it is a big problem.

‘We need a leader and a collective target can give us determination. In some matches we have lacked it, like in the last match,’ Sarri said.

‘I think we have a problem to manage the match at the moment, we have played well for 55 minutes but then in the first difficulty we had a blackout.

‘We were a little unlucky, because the opponents (Wolves) only had two on target. We were not able to react.’

City will look to keep up their relentless pace at the top of the Premier League table, while Chelsea will not want to suffer successive defeats.

Chelsea have a dismal recent record against City, having lost their last three encounters, if you include the summer’s Community Shield.

The Blues’ last win against City game was in a league meeting at Stamford Bridge in April 2017.
