Manchester United and Man City are set to earn even MORE money from televised games in the Premier League in the 2019/20 season.

Given their ongoing clout in the Premier League, Manchester United also earned more than their Manchester rivals – with £31.2million from 27 live fixtures.

Last season, each TV fixture was worth around £1.15million to Premier League clubs.

With 112 live games on offer this year, Sky Sports maintain the bulk of Premier League fixtures.

The new deal running until the 2021/22 deal will see Sky, BT and newcomer Amazon broadcasting Premier League games.

All ten matches from this season's Boxing Day round of fixtures will be shown live on Amazon Prime as the online retailer enters the Premier League TV marketplace.

Leaders Liverpool, with 29 appearances, earned around £33.5million - more than champions City, who earned £30.1million from their 26 TV games.
