Manchester United Should Rest Players in the Manchester Derby, Says Gary Neville

Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville, has asked the club manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, to rest some of his key players in the upcoming Manchester derby, asking the Red Devils to focus solely on Champions League qualification.

Most United fans would do anything to see Liverpool  fall short in the Premier League title race, which means they are even okay with  ?Manchester City winning the upcoming Manchester derby.

Neville, however, has claimed that he doesn't share the same beliefs but thinks United — who are currently sixth in league standings — would eventually benefit from making a few changes to their best XI in 24th April's game.

"That's not them going into the city game thinking United can lose the game, they have to win.

"Sunday away to Everton is the most winnable of the games," Neville said on Sky Sports Monday Night Football, as quoted by Mirror.

So if they were to win against Everton on Sunday, the game to change players around a bit would be the City game."

My view would be that if they beat Everton on Sunday then make two or three changes against City, whilst still trying to get the result."
