Premier League football is now back up and running but the three-month suspension of football fixtures around the world has led to many questions being asked.

While the Premier League has now returned, other leagues from both England and around the world have made different decisions regarding the conclusion of the 2019/20 season.

One of the issues raised is regarding the standing of players who are out of contract or on loan, with the season due to go on past the June 30 that most of the contracts run to.

There is an option to sign short term deals to be able to finish the season with a particular club, with deals running out this week if nothing has yet been agreed.
