Manchester City have been fined £315,000 by FIFA over the international transfer of minors.

The club, however, have avoided a transfer ban.

A statement by FIFA today read: "The FIFA disciplinary committee has sanctioned English club Manchester City FC for breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18.

“Manchester City FC was found to have breached, amongst others, article 19 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players."

Elsewhere, the season is now in full swing and things are already back to normal with Man City sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table.

If they want to stay there they'll have a significantly tougher opposition this coming weekend than West Ham, as they'll face Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur in their first game at the Etihad.
