Manchester City's players returned from two days off yesterday to begin preparations for Saturday's trip to Newport.
Pep Guardiola gave his players the time off after a gruelling schedule over the last two months, and they looked fresh in pictures published by City as they resumed training yesterday.
The team will now look forward to the tie against League Two Newport, where Guardiola must decide whether to field a strong team or rotate the pack and play some youngsters.
