Juventus' chief football officer, Fabio Paratici, was reportedly keen on luring the Brazilian star away from the City in January but could not persuade the Manchester outfit to enter into negotiations.

?Italian outfit, ?Juventus are reportedly keen on signing ?Manchester City striker, Gabriel Jesus as a replacement for their Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain, a report in the ?Calcio Mercato (via ?ESPN) claims.

Juve could make the most of the opportunity and lure Jesus away from Etihad, to Turin.

Jesus, 22, could be the right option for Juventus in the long-term, given star man Cristiano Ronaldo has already turned 35, although the Portuguese has still proven to be decisive for the club.

City have also been handed a Champions League ban and that could potentially see some of their star players.

Nevertheless, City have already appealed against their ban and it could be overturned by CAS.

Higuain is reportedly set to leave the Old Lady this summer and the defending Serie A champions are expected to make reinforcements to the squad in the next transfer window.
