Manchester City will be looking to return to winning ways at Burnley in the Premier League following the disappointing draw at Newcastle at the weekend.

City thought they had snatched victory at St James' Park after a poor performance with Kevin de Bruyne's wonder strike, but Jonjo Shelvey's late equaliser denied Pep Guardiola's men three points.

Liverpool won later in the day to extend their lead over City to 11 points in the title race, with Leicester's own win seeing them three points ahead in second.

Ilkay Gundogan will be unavailable after picking up his fifth booking of the season on Saturday, with Sergio Aguero still unavailable through injury.

Burnley has been a traditionally tough place to go for City under Guardiola, scraping wins last season and in 2016/17, while they were held to a draw in 2017/18.

We'll bring you build-up, live updates and post-match reaction from Turf Moor.
