Bayern Munich 'complete deal for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane' as German star gets his wish of Bundesliga return on a five-year contractWantaway Manchester City star Leroy Sane has sealed a move to Bayern MunichReports in Germany say a five-year deal at the Bundesliga club has been agreedEarlier this month, Sane refused to extend his contract at the Citizens

Bayern Munich have completed a deal Manchester City winger Leroy Sané on a five-year contract, according to reports in Germany.

Earlier this month, City manager Pep Guardiola revealed the 24-year-old attacker refused to agree a new deal at the Premier League club which only had 12 months left to run.

And German news outlet BILD say the deal has been agreed for Sané to return to the Bundesliga ahead of the start of the 2020/21 season, but paperwork has yet to be signed.

A move to Bayern Munich would end four-year spell at the Etihad Stadium, which has seen the German winger win two Premier League titles, two EFL Cups and last season's FA Cup.

Overall, the winger has made 135 appearances for Guardiola's squad, scoring 39 goals.

But Sane suffered a serious ligament injury at the start of the season which ruled him out for most of the current campaign. The winger made his first Premier League appearance of the season in the final few minutes of City's 5-0 win over Burnley last Monday.

Guardiola admitted that Manchester City may not choose to replace Sane this summer

City boss Guardiola hinted it is unlikely that the club will not find a replacement for Sané.

'I think we have other priorities [in the transfer market],' the City boss said last week.

'I don't know after coronavirus if the situation financially for clubs is changing. We're going to see at the end of this season.

'We have enough good players. Gabriel [Jesus] can play on the left, Phil Foden, we have Raheem (Sterling). Most of them are in healthy conditions.'
