Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson are two of the most longest serving managers in Premier League history.

Both of them were in a league of their own. No current manager is no where near them in terms of overall longevity, but today, we take a look at the longest serving currently active managers in the league.

5. Pep Guardiola - 3 Years and 326 Days

The former Barca man has managed his three senior clubs in three different countries. Though, the challenge at City has been the most difficult but the Spaniard has stepped up to the occasion and has won six major trophies.

4. Chris Wilder - 4 Years and 10 Days

Sheffield United were in League One when Wilder took charge and no one thought that in his fourth season with the Blades he would guide them to 7th position in the Premier League. His impact on his boyhood club can be seen on and off the pitch as well.

Last year Wolves made the 'Big Six' sweat and this season Sheffield United went on to make Liverpool restless at Bramall Lane, one of the few teams who could manage that feat.

3. Jurgen Klopp - 4 Years and 227 Days

He is in dream land right now, just five points dropped so far, quite unbelievable.

Jurgen Klopp is now on his way to become the first German manager to win the Premier League. He has had a major impact ever since he arrived at Anfield, making Liverpool a force to reckon with.

Their European status is back to where it used to belong and after 30 years, Merseyside will see the top-flight trophy back at Anfield once the season resumes and much of the credit for Liverpool reaching this level goes to Klopp.

2. Sean Dyche - 7 Years and 205 Days

Burnley's manager since 2012, Sean Dyche has seen everything relegation, promotion and qualification for Europe as well.

Though, survival is their aim every season, but they are 10th in league just behind a long traffic for European spots.

1. Eddie Howe - 7 Years and 223 Days

Burnley FC v AFC Bournemouth - Premier League

For a club with a capacity of around 11,000, Eddie Howe is not credited enough for the job he does at Bournemouth.

Taking the club from League Two to the Premier League in two different spells is quite a remarkable achievement.

His objective this season was just to ensure their survival, but this year has not been the best and they are in the drop zone. However, Eddie Howe can use all of his experience in order to steer Bournemouth out of the drop zone when the season resumes.
